The town's award-winning, multi-venue, free festival takes place on Saturday 17 June!
Held across more than 20 venues and featuring over 200 artists, the event will be officially opened by the Mayor in the Glass Works Square at 11am with Frumptarn Guggenband.
Not only do Barnsley Live provide an unrivalled local platform for musicians, each year the festival teams up with a local charity to help raise vital funds and much-needed awareness.
One of Barnsley FC's charity partners, Barnsley Hospice are the lucky beneficiaries this year, an organisation so firmly woven into the the fabric of our town due to their outstanding work in offering specialist palliative and end of life care to local people living with a life-limiting illness.
With over 200 artists playing the festival, there should be something for everyone. Not only are you able to take in the local musical talent, it's an opportunity to raise funds for a charity dear to our hearts whilst putting money back into the growing town centre economy!
