Our Head Coach feels the future is bright for Barnsley FC's Women's squad ahead of the 23/24 campaign.
"I've been really impressed with the players in training; it's a professional setup we've got now and it can only lead to further success for us."
Pre-season preparation continues on the training ground for our Women's team ahead of a new season, in a higher division after last term's title-winning campaign.
With the team now fully incorporated and under the Barnsley FC umbrella, with new members of staff and a raft of new signings, Head Coach, Jess Horsley is confident that big things are achievable moving forward.
"To have the speed gates out, getting the GPS vests on, it's very professional and that will help the players to improve, to develop." Horseley told us.
"It's also going to help us in terms of attracting other people to the club. Having the support of the club, the facilities, at this level of football, you've to go to tier 3 and above to match it. So that gives us real belief that we can push on and keeping getting better."
