The pitch at the original Mill Farm venue of our hosts isn't yet ready.
Despite the best efforts of the hosts, a safety certificate was not obtained from Lancashire County Council for their training facility at Kellamergh Park.
Furthermore, there were serious concerns raised by Lancashire Police regarding the potential number of away supporters attending the game. All the above factors combined would require additional stewarding and policing costs, which led AFC Fylde to take the decision to play the game behind closed doors.
