The striker spoke to the press for the first time following his arrival to preview our Sky Bet League One clash with Charlton Athletic on Saturday.
ON SETTLING INTO THE SQUAD
"Training with the lads has been really good. It's a really good group, a young group. The staff are brilliant as well. It's a great Club to come to and settle into. Everyone's on the same page, we all want the same thing. Everyone's working together for the same outcome."
ON WHY HE CAME TO THE CLUB
"Mainly the manager really. I know quite a lot about him - I watched him at Cheltenham and now at Barnsley. I like the way he plays. You look at the players we've got in the team, it's a very strong team. I love the way we play."
ON MOTIVATIONS FOR LOAN MOVE
"I wasn't getting much game time at Cardiff which obviously means I have to go out on loan and get game time. I looked at what options I had to go on loan. As soon as I knew Barnsley were interested, that was it. Things don't always work out the way you want them to. I'm here now and I'm going to give my best for Barnsley."
ON FITTING INTO THE SQUAD
"We've obviously got two great strikers here. Hopefully, I can pair up with one of those or even both. Hopefully, just do my best for the team, work hard and see what comes for it."
