Barnsley Football Club can confirm that Mads Andersen, Brad Collins and Jordan Williams have all seen the options triggered within their contracts.
The Reds have taken up the options within the contracts of all three players, thus seeing the threesome now tied to the Club until the summer of 2024.
Goalkeeper Collins has so far made 115 appearances for the Reds since joining the Club in June of 2019. Voted the fans' Player of the 2021/22 Season, the former Chelsea academy graduate has gone from strength to strength over the last four years, fighting off numerous challengers to establish himself as the Club's first choice stopper.
Versatile defender Williams joined the Reds back in August of 2018 and has racked up 125 appearances across four campaigns. Part of the squad promoted to the second tier in the 2018/19 season as well as helping the Club to the Sky Bet Championship play-offs in 2021, the 23-year-old has been deployed in a variety of defensive positions over the years and continues to prove himself a key member of the first team.
Centre back and current team captain, Andersen left his homeland of Denmark in the summer of 2019 to join Barnsley. His remarkable transformation during his debut campaign as the Reds pulled off the 'great escape' was bettered a year later as the 25-year-old helped Club reached the end-of-season play-offs.
