Connell's half-volley against Posh wins the fans vote for the Goal of the Month in December, in association with ngdecor!
Nicky Cadden crossed a pacy ball from the left which was headed away by Jeando Fuchs for Posh. The ball fell to Connell, who chested the ball down and on the half volley struck from 20 yards, nestling in the bottom right-hand corner of Lucas Bergström's goal to give the Reds the lead.
Upon receiving the award, Connell was grateful for the backing of the Reds faithful: "Reds, thank you for all the votes," he began.
"I really appreciate it. Hopefully I can get a couple more before the end of the season!"
