Our Head Coach sat in front of the press on Thursday to look preview our trip to the capital on Saturday as we take on Charlton Athletic in Sky Bet League One.
"Tom Edwards has had a scan; he's opened up his medial ligament. We'll know more tomorrow when he goes to see the specialist. It's not looking great, it's looking like 2-3 months.
"Everyone else came through the game okay."
ON MAX WATTERS
"He'll be involved on Saturday. He's not fit to start - he's been short on football. He's trained with us, he's had a good week's training which is what we want. We wanted him in our environment and getting an idea of how we want to play. He'll definitely add to the group."
ON INCOMING TRANSFER ACTIVITY
"We were looking to do two or three initially, but that might go up to three or four now, because of the injury to Tom. But we won't do anything before this weekend.
"There's no desire to remodel the squad. We've just gone two months unbeaten. There's good players in this building.
"There are things to improve but it doesn't need major surgery."
ON OUTGOING TRANSFER ACTIVITY
"I don't think we'll lose anyone in January. We don't want to. I'm pretty confident on that one.
"It's easier in a transfer window when you're in the top six.
"We can show them our body of work, and particularly with incomings, and it's an easier sell when we've given ourselves a chance of at least getting a play-off spot."
ON CHARLTON ATHLETIC
"They've always had good players. I know Dean Holden really well, we used to live in Manchester. I lived in the same village as his family. I used to see Dean quite a lot.
"A really well-respected coach. You look at the performance the other night against Man Utd - people see 3-0 but there's nothing in the game until the 90th minute. We know we're in for a tough challenge. They've just had two good results in the league."
