The gaffer spoke to the assembled press ahead of our Sky Bet League One clash with Accrington Stanley at Oakwell on Saturday.
ON INJURIES
"We're still waiting for Robbie's injury to settle down - he's got a little tear in his knee. Hopefully, he'll only be a couple of weeks. Josh Benson will probably be a little longer than that. It could be more 4-6 weeks. It's unfortunate."
ON BARRY COTTER
"He brings athleticism. He's someone that the recruitment team have flagged up. I've not seen loads and loads of him, but the bits I have seen now are athleticism, pace, he can go past people. You can see with the three-and-a-half year contract that the Club think he's got potential to go on."
ON JASPER MOON
"He's been really unfortunate Jasper. He trains brilliantly every day, his attitude is first-class. In a perfect world, from a selfish point of view would I really want him to go out? Probably not. But, at some point you've got to do the right thing by the player. He wasn't involved in the squad at Charlton and he's got an opportunity to go and play some games at the same level."
ON FABIO JALO'S CALL-UP TO PORTUGAL U18S
"There's been quite of a bit of noise around Fabio for a while now, probably since the Doncaster game where he scored two in the Papa John's. Any international recognition is brilliant. I think it's fair to say Portugal are a powerhouse in world football, so it's just another feather in his cap. Don't get carried away with yourself, don't think you've cracked it. U18s football and professional football are completely different."
ON ACCRINGTON STANLEY
"I'm expecting a tight game. They make it really difficult, they go man for man a lot all over the pitch which makes it difficult to play against. So, you're looking at moments of quality. Again, I thought we did enough to win that game (the reverse fixture on Boxing Day) - but, we didn't. We need to try and be more ruthless in certain areas of the pitch."
