The big defender claimed a second successive headed goal on the road in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Fratton Park.
After helping Michael Duff's men to a late point on Saturday afternoon, Bobby Thomas spoke to iFollow Barnsley and gave his assessment of the fixture.
The on-loan centre half reckoned the result was the least that the Reds deserved after fighting back for a point on the South Coast.
"It's been a positive week on the whole," he explained. "We're obviously disappointed not to be coming home with another win, especially with what happened, but credit to the lads, we dug in, kept going until the end and we've nicked something.
"That says a lot about us as a group I think.
"We'll rest up a little, get back on the training ground, find a nice balance and hopefully we can get another result back at home next weekend."
