Following Saturday's Sky Bet League One fixture against Derby County, Reds Chief Executive Officer, Khaled El-Ahmad, has written to thank supporters for winning 'off the field'.

That game on Saturday, wow. We called on you for your support and you delivered. The number of Reds in the stands was fantastic, but what was more impressive was the noise that you generated. The scarves, ‘Hey Jude’, the scenes after each goal, singing for Beth, each moment was truly magnificent and played a part in three vital points. Having spoken to Michael and the squad at full-time, they can all attest to this!
Just as I asked for, we won on and off the field!However, whilst this was a great step in the right direction, please know winning off the pitch is just as vital as winning on it.
We’ve got another challenge away to Bristol Rovers on Saturday, but then we return to Oakwell for back-to-back Sky Bet League One fixtures; Portsmouth, under the lights on Tuesday 7 March before Plymouth Argyle pay us a visit on Saturday 11 March.
I’ve been presented countless posts across social media over the last 48 hours and I agree, it’s the best atmosphere created in a long time. Therefore, as a Club, and I'm sure you fans, want the numbers, the noise and atmosphere at every fixture. Twirl your scarves, sing your hearts out and cheer the team on from the first minute until the last.
The demand for tickets in our last fixture was significant. To have ‘Packed the Ponty’ was a success and whilst we unfortunately had to turn supporters away, please know that we’re being as accessible as possible, as adult tickets in the C.K.Beckett South Stand are only £20 (Portsmouth) and £23 (Plymouth Argyle).
For now, all that’s left for me to say is thank you for your outstanding support against Derby County and I look forward to seeing the away fans at Bristol and another big display next Tuesday.
