Club Partner, GQA Qualifications paid a visit to Kexborough Primary School with Rudi Pache and Adam Hayton to deliver 22/23 Half Season Tickets.

In association with Together Red, GQA kindly provided a number of children from the Darton-based primary school with the gift of football, for those who may not normally have access to come to Oakwell for matchdays.

Reds players Rudi Pache and Adam Heyton presented the lucky children with their half-season ticket during their Friday assembly!

GQA, who are sponsoring our Academy for the 22/23 campaign, had Compliance Officer Mark Simpson in attendance on the day.

CEO of GQA Qualifications, Mick Clayton, commented on the initiative: “Being local and a long-time season ticket holder, I am thrilled to be able to support the half-season ticket initiative", he began.

"Hopefully, the scheme will help to bring some new fans into Oakwell and start their long-term love of the club”.

Khaled El-Ahmad, Barnsley FC CEO, praised GQA and the additional partners who have donated half season tickets to the local community: "I would like to thank GQA for their kindness and efforts in helping make this happen.

"We know how special football is and the impact it can have on people's wellbeing, and to be able to share that out to those in Barnsley via our partners has been fantastic for all involved.

"We hope those who have received season tickets in recent weeks thoroughly enjoy their time at Oakwell and make special memories with those closest to them."
