The 21-year-old played a big part in our 3-1 win over Accrington Stanley, playing a defence-splitting aerial ball for Norwood which resulted in Jack Aitchison slotting home to double our advantage.
Connell landed on a second ball in the middle of the park and demonstrated quick thinking to fizz a ball through for Adam Phillips who cutback for Jordan Williams who made no mistake in finishing from inside the area.
