Barnsley FC Chief Executive Officer, Khaled El-Ahmad and Reds Head Coach, Michael Duff featured as guests on BBC Radio Sheffield's 'Football Heaven'.
The pair answered calls from Reds fans live on air during the hour and talked to host, Andy Giddings about a number of topics - including this weekend's Sky Bet League One clash with Derby County.
Speaking on the role the supporters play, Duff emphasised the importance of the atmosphere that the fans from the stands create on the mentality of the team.
"Hopefully, the fans turn up now - which they have done in recent weeks. You talk about a connection, I think we can definitely, definitely come together. Cheer the lads on.
"Saturday is a perfect example. Where we come out the tunnel, the first noise you hear is the Derby fans, obviously, because we're coming out from their stand. We don't want to hear them all 90 minutes, we want to give you a performance and hopefully, you turn up like you did last week and it's a win-win situation."
