We have been provided the following information from Beth's family, as she continues to recover from life-saving emergency surgery.
It is now a week since our Head of Ticketing and dear colleague and friend, Beth Sefton was taken ill and rushed to hospital where emergency surgery was carried out, the Club has been inundated with messages, well-wishes and support from the Reds fanbase and the football family in general.
Beth's husband, Kieron Sefton wanted to thank supporters and all those who've thrown their support behind his partner's recovery.
"Beth remains critically ill and has not yet regained consciousness. She is stable and receiving incredible one-to-one care around the clock, but there is a long and uncertain road ahead of her.
"We appreciate the tremendous support shown and have been reading Beth some of the kind messages posted online, as she may be able to hear them.
"Beth will be undergoing further testing over the coming days, which will give us all a clearer picture of what the future looks like."
As a Club, we are all thinking of our beloved Beth and will continue to be there for her family, every step of the way.
