The Club is proud to announce that homegrown striker Aiden Marsh is Reds in the Community's new Sports Participation Ambassador.
The 19-year-old forward steps into the role after recently visiting both Premier League Kicks and Soccer Camps sessions. Aiden didn't shy away from getting stuck in with Reds in the Community's sessions and fielded hundreds of questions from eager participants.
As part of the role, Aiden will be helping to support with sessions under the Community's Sports Participation umbrella, including Friday and Saturday Coaching Clubs and Soccer Camps.
Speaking after being named as new ambassador, Marsh told us: "I’m happy to become the Sports Participation Ambassador and support sessions such as PL Kicks and Camps.
"I used to come to these camps when I was younger, so I know how enjoyable they are and how much they support the young people in Barnsley."
Reds in the Community's Sports Participation Officer, Jack Cadman added, "I’m happy to welcome Aiden on board as our ambassador, it makes such a difference to the children’s experience at camps and we are proud to have him supporting our work, especially as he has experienced it himself first-hand."
