With the Christmas Market coming to The Glassworks this weekend, take advantage of park & ride options here at Oakwell.
The Glass Works Square will come alive with over 55 festive stalls from local food and drink producers to festive gifts, crafts and home ware, and the ever-popular street food vendors, combining traditional Christmas fare with flavours and tastes from all over the world.
The Barnsley Christmas Market truly offers something for everyone and will be serving up food from all corners of the globe including Italy, Turkey, Greece, Japan, Mexico, Canada and more!
But it isn’t all about the food, with live festive music, 3 bars serving the finest beers and cocktails, and a fantastic range of artisan crafters, makers, artists and more.
The opening dates and times of the Barnsley Christmas Market are:
Thursday 7 December: 10am – 5pm
Friday 8 December: 10am – 8pm
Saturday 9 December: 10am – 8pm
Sunday 10 December: 11am – 4pm
We're pleased to announce that additional parking has been made available for the Barnsley Christmas Market here at Oakwell, as we support our town alongside Yorkshire Rose Holidays.
For just £4 per vehicle you'll be able to avoid the hassle of getting into town and simply park up here at Oakwell, where a park and ride service will operate - or you can simply walk into town if preferred.
What's more, once used, you can exchange your Park & Ride ticket at the Box Office in-person and get two tickets to the Reds v Stevenage fixture for just £20! The offer being valid until 5pm on Friday 22nd December.
The park and ride scheme will operate each day from 11am until 4:30pm, whilst parking and walking will be available from the following times:
Thursday 7 December: 11am - 6pm (last admission 4pm)
Friday 8 December/Saturday 9 December: 11am - 9.30pm (last admission 7.30pm)
Sunday 10 December: 11am - 5.30pm (last admission 3.30pm)
