We can announce that John McAtee has won November's Player of the Month award!
In association with NG Decor, John McAtee has been voted as the Reds' top performer during November by the fans!
The 24-year-old netted three times last month, including a late goal against Lincoln City which edged the Reds in front after his assist for Barry Cotter shortly prior.
McAtee has impressed with his tireless work ethic on and off the ball, combined with his ability to find pockets of space to hurt opposition defences.
On winning the award, the Luton-loanee spoke of the standards that are driven in the squad by the competition for places up top.
"It's nice with the competition we have in the squad. We've got myself, Sam, D (Cole), Max (Watters), Marshy who can play there, Jalo coming in. There's loads of opportunities to play but at the same time we're all in pretty decent form.
"The injury has come at a bad time, but it was a decent month and hopefully we can build on it."
Managing Director at NG Decor, Neil Glover presented McAtee with his award at Oakwell.
