As you may have seen on our social media channels and iFollow Barnsley, this weekend, lifelong supporter Joan Desbro made history by becoming our oldest ever mascot.
At 90-years-young, Joan led the team out alongside skipper Jordan Williams on an afternoon that she will never forget.
Prior to kick-off, the West Stand season ticket holder – along with her husband, Don, and two sons – were treated to a stadium tour before heading to the Reds’ changing room where Joan was presented with a shirt from top scorer Devante Cole.
She then spoke with Calendar pitchside and was a guest at the ITV studio in Leeds on Monday afternoon, where she reflected on her special day at Oakwell.
