The defender gave his thoughts to our 2-2 draw with Peterborough United for iFollow Barnsley.
Dodgson started as part of a back three against the league’s top scorers in replacement of Jamie McCart,. who is still recovering from a slight injury picked up against Port Vale on Boxing Day.
The Burnley-loanee was pleased with his display against Posh and revealed his prior experience with the position asked of him on Friday night.
“I think it was a big point away from home. I thought we should have come away with the three points, but at the end of the day, to be able to come out with a 2-2 draw away at Peterborough who are a good side, we’ll take it any day of the week.”
“I played there at Burnley. I know how to play in the position and I like playing there as well. I feel confident there and as the game went on I felt more confident getting on the ball. I’m happy with how I played.”
