Barry Cotter gave his thoughts after the Reds overcame the Royals 3-1 at the Select Car Leasing Stadium for iFollow Barnsley.
After initially falling behind inside five minutes, the Reds fought back to secure all three points on Saturday afternoon in Berkshire.
Cotter was pleased with how the side reacted to the problems that arose during the game and demonstrated a strong mentality to get a successful result on the road.
"Absolutely buzzing," he opened. "To come from one down, answering their questions and coming back 3-1. Devante getting his tally going again, Fabio impacting, ending the game a man down and feeling like we're a man up, it's exactly what we want from our squad. Digging deep together, we can't be pleased enough."
