Sam Cosgrove is announced as the winner of November's Goal of the Month award!
Our number nine's winning goal against Wycombe Wanderers at Oakwell has been voted as the winner by the fans, in association with NG Decor!
The decisive moment in the match came in added time, the scores at 0-0, as the Wycombe 'keeper Max Stryjek clutched onto the ball and under pressure from Cosgrove fell to the floor.
The ball fell loose and the Reds striker tapped home to seal all three points in bizarre fashion.
Speaking to iFollow Barnsley after scooping last month's accolade, Cosgrove spoke about the goal and getting off the mark in a Barnsley shirt.
"From my point of view, it was a strange one. We're never not putting those in, but we will take it. Three points. Bit of a long time coming, but we're off the mark and got hopefully the first of many."
Neil Glover, Managing Director of NG Decor, presented Cosgrove with his award at Oakwell.
