We are happy to announce the contract extension of Adam Phillips until 2026, with a further year in the Club's favour.
The 25-year-old sees his stay at Oakwell lengthened following an impressive opening campaign with the Reds.
Making 45 appearances for the Club so far, the Garstang-born playmaker scored ten goals and contributed eight assists after joining on summer deadline day in September 2022.
Speaking exclusively to iFollow Barnsley, Phillips expressed his desire to kick on following a strong start to life at Oakwell: "I'm absolutely delighted to get it done.
"I've known about it now for a few weeks, but I'm happy to get it all signed and really looking forward to carrying on my career here at Barnsley."
Barnsley FC Chief Executive Officer, Khaled El-Ahmad, added: "We are extremely pleased to see Adam extend his stay here at Oakwell.
"Following his recruitment last summer, Adam has proved to have been a threat from the midfield and suits the identity we want to implement against the ball.
