DX has kindly donated 20 season tickets to Dodworth Miners Welfare U9s as part of their commitment to support the local community.
DX, a valued partner of the club, has made a generous donation to one of our local grassroots football teams to enable the next generation of Barnsley supporters to watch live football at Oakwell.
Chief Executive Officer at DX, Paul Ibbetson, handed over the season tickets the donation at halftime of our recent home game against Peterborough United and explained why the delivery firm made the decision to provide this opportunity:
"We are delighted to be able to make this donation of the season tickets and combine two footballing teams in our community with both Barnsley FC and Dodworth Miners Welfare.
"I know the feeling of walking up the steps into the stadium at Oakwell as a young child, and I'm fortunate to be in a position where I can help provide that amazing experience to future fans.
"I'd like to thank Barnsley FC and Dodworth Miners Welfare for their cooperation and support on this project. I hope the season tickets are able to give a fantastic opportunity for families to watch the Reds in action!"
