Barry Cotter provided his reflections on our defeat on penalties to Tranmere Rovers in the first round of the Carabao Cup.
The 24-year-old played the full 90 minutes as well as stepping up for a penalty - converted with aplomb into the bottom corner.
Despite the defeat, Cotter maintained that the Reds can take encouragement from Tuesday night's performance.
"So many positives," began the Irishman. "To go behind twice in the game and to come back. And then with the debuts, the young lads, players playing together - so many positives. Obviously, it's a tough way to lose a game of any football. But, so many positives."
