We make our first trip of the 23/24 campaign on Saturday as we face Bristol Rovers in Sky Bet League One at the Memorial Stadium.
The Reds will be backed by a reduced allocation of 500 away fans as we look to make it back-to-back wins to kick off the new season.
The following guide will provide more information about our hosts on Saturday for anyone making the journey down to Bristol:
Getting there
By car
The Memorial Stadium (BS7 0BF) itself has very limited parking available on-site for supporters.
Rovers advise that match-going fans park on nearby streets, ensuring you adhere to road signs and not block driveways as the area is predominantly residential.
Muller Road is a popular option with fans, as well as Gloucester Road.
By train
The nearest station is Filton Abbey Wood, which can be found 1.5 miles from the stadium. However, the most common local station is Bristol Parkway. Trains are available from Sheffield station, changing at Birmingham New Street, towards Bristol Parkway.
Memorial Stadium
The Memorial Stadium opened in 1921, dedicated to the memory of local rugby union players killed during the First World War. With a capacity of 9,832, the home of the Gas is the 13th largest stadium in League One.
We hope you have a safe trip and look forward to seeing the Reds back out on the road!
