The Reds striker provided his reaction to a frenetic affair at Stadium MK on Saturday afternoon in Sky Bet League One.
Watters entered the fray with the scores at 3-1 to the hosts, soon becoming 4-1 shortly after his introduction. However, the 24-year-old inspired the Reds to a second-half comeback, scoring twice and assisting for James Norwood's second of the afternoon.
The frontman was happy with his contribution from the bench, at the club where he spent half of last season in an MK Dons shirt.
"Yeah, it was quite chaotic," he described. "To come on and in 27 minutes to do that was pretty chaotic, but, that's what I'm there to do, what I'm coming off the bench to do. I'm pleased with my performance.
"I'm just thinking work hard," continued the striker. "Try and get one chance if I can and put it away. Two fell to my feet in the box, that's all I can ask for."
