The vote is now open for the March Player of the Month competition!
In association with ngdecor, supporters can now vote for their top performer during March!
The month was a memorable one for the Reds, winning four out of six games - including victories against Plymouth Argyle and Sheffield Wednesday at Oakwell.
During that time, Harry Isted has kept three clean sheets - coming against Bristol Rovers, Plymouth Argyle and Wycombe Wanderers.
Just in front of the 'keeper stands Liam Kitching, whose battling spirit and strong tackles came through on the big occasions at Oakwell. He capped off a fantastic month with a goal against Sheffield Wednesday, wrapping up all three points in front of the Sky cameras.
Nicky Cadden enjoyed a fruitful couple of games in front of goal, getting forward from that left wing-back position. The first of his goals came in our 3-1 victory over Portsmouth, bending in a sumptuous curling effort from the edge of the area. This was added to by a late free-kick against Plymouth, scoring the third and final goal for the Reds in a win against the Pilgrims.
March was also a productive month for our front-men, with James Norwood and Devante Cole both scoring two goals each, both scoring in quick succession against the Owls under the lights.
Max Watters' clinical finish in the South Yorkshire derby regained us the lead, with Slobodan Tedic scoring a late winner in Buckinghamshire to defeat Wycombe Wanderers.
