Ziyad Larkeche reflected on our 0-0 draw with Lincoln City in Sky Bet League One for iFollow Barnsley.
The Reds had chances within the game to break the deadlock, but couldn't quite find the elusive breakthrough in Lincolnshire.
The 20-year-old emphasised the importance of remaining optimistic and putting the result into context of the whole season.
"We take the positives," he said. "It's a clean sheet away from home. They've only lost once at home all season at home and they have never lost against the top four, so that shows how tough they are to break. We take the positives from this game."
Larkeche has been given his chance in the side at left wing-back following Nicky Cadden's dismissal against Shrewsbury Town on Easter Monday.
Shipping just one goal since his re-introduction in the starting lineup, the full-back was appreciative of the positive feedback, but his sights are already set on Saturday's clash with Oxford United at Oakwell.
"When I have the opportunity when the gaffer gives me the opportunity to start, I try to give my best and be focused defensively," discussed the PSG academy product. "When I can, I try to bring an offensive threat as well. Obviously, it's positive, but already now I am focused on the next one."
