Our central midfielder enjoyed a productive afternoon at Oakwell on Saturday and provided his thoughts for iFollow Barnsley.
Kane scored his second of the season, adding to goals from Devante Cole and an own goal by Dynel Simeu to emerge as 5-0 winners against the Shrimps.
The 24-year-old thought the Reds controlled the affair, pleased with being able to keep the Shrimps out as well as being clinical in front of goal.
"It was a good victory," he began. "I thought we dominated throughout. There was a spell at the end of the first half where I thought we were a little bit sloppy, but it was a good day. And a clean sheet, which is a bonus."
The number eight doubled his tally for the season, making it three-nil just after the half-hour mark at Oakwell.
Mads Andersen danced into the area, was tackled, and Kane on the edge of the area rolled home the ball that had broken to the edge of the area.
"It's something that I've been trying to work on," he explained. "Arriving in the area is what we want to do as midfielders, arriving in the right areas. It's good that it fell to me and I just finished it really."
