Our goalkeeper provided his opinion of our 2-1 victory at Oakwell against Shrewsbury Town on Easter Monday.
It was a hard-fought victory for the Reds against the Shrews, with the affair being quite stop-start and populated with aerial challenges all across the pitch.
However, Isted praised his teammates' mentality when things were beginning to go against the Reds and most importantly, for securing the victory.
"At the end of the day, it's three points. The lads dug in when we went down to ten men and when they got a goal back. We were strong in the end, did our roles, and got three points."
Since joining the Reds, the 26-year-old has impressed with a number of assured performances between the sticks for Michael Duff's side.
This is something that has not gone unnoticed by the Barnsley faithful, showing their support for the 'keeper since his debut against Cambridge United back in February. The feeling is mutual, according to Isted.
"I love walking out here and seeing all the fans making noise. It gives us a platform and gives a boost to go and get three points for them."
