MICHAEL DUFF PREVIEWS LINCOLN TRIP

17 April 2023

Michael Duff spoke to the assembled press ahead of our Sky Bet League One meeting with Lincoln City on Tuesday night.

ON INJURIES

"Ziyad is fine, it's just cramp. We touched base with him yesterday, he feels good. He's come through it, everyone's come through it. Clean bill of health.

"It was good to get Robbie back on the pitch. The Ziyad change was planned anyway, but his cramp kicked in a couple of minutes earlier than we thought."

ON THE WEEKEND'S VICTORY

"We've just won 5-1. Yes, you always want more. But, you take the positives from the performance. Could we have done certain things better? Yes. But, I don't know when the last time the Club won 5 away from home. We'll take the positives."

ON SET PIECES

"They're an important part of the game. You look at the Plymouth game, for example. They've won it with a set play. Luca's delivery has been good all year. We've got some big players in the team.

"Bobby (Thomas) has added to it, he's a big threat. We know the delivery, once it's on the money, we have got lads that are prepared to go and head it. It's a challenge for the opposition."

ON LINCOLN CITY

"They're well-coached, organised. They carry a threat. They've won the last three so they're definitely not on the beach - and beaten some good teams within that. They've lost one game at home all season.

"I know Mark quite well, I talk to him quite regularly. You can see that they're a well-coached team. That's probably the biggest compliment I can pay them. They do carry a threat."

Our next game at Oakwell comes on Saturday 22 April, as we welcome Oxford United in Sky Bet League One.
