The Scotsman spoke to the press ahead of our Sky Bet League One clash with Burton Albion on Good Friday at the Pirelli Stadium.
ON MORECAMBE VICTORY
"It was vital. The Exeter game, it was a long trip down but we're not making any excuses. We weren't at our best. We were good in patches but in the final third I don't think we were there. What we can do is bounce back and that's what we did on Saturday. It was a good performance, a good result all round and I'm sure the fans were happy after that."
ON WORKING WITH MICHAEL DUFF
"He's a good gaffer. Ultimately, he's a good guy. He's a good man-manager, he'll pull you aside and talk to you, make sure your family is OK. I'm sure all the boys are the same, he's very likeable.
"We've worked on my defensive side more, he's helped me out on that side. On the attacking side, he's given me the licence to do what I was doing last year at Forest Green and I think it's working. The team is doing really well and hopefully we can continue."
ON MOMENTUM
"It's massive. We just need to keep going half by half and see what happens, see where we are at the end of the season and hopefully, we're happy at the end of the season.
"We've got a good squad in there. Even people that aren't making the bench, people understand that it is very strong. You can see that in training, we've got really good players in there. It pushes me on, it pushes the other boys on. I think that's a factor of why we're doing so well this year."
ON JASPER MOON
"He's still young and needs to go out and experience first-team football. The back three have been doing really well. It's hard for him to get a chance here but he's doing really well. Burton were at a tough point of the season when he went and he's basically got them out of the relegation zone. He's doing really well."
