BETH SEFTON UPDATE

9 April 2023

We're glad to report that Beth is still making progress in her recovery.

Our Head of Ticketing at Oakwell, Beth Sefton remains in hospital but making progress following lifesaving surgery back in February.

Whilst we have been inundated with messages asking about our dear friend and valued colleague, there are details we won't be sharing which we would like to think that all supporters will respect.

As stated previously, Beth is at the start of a long road. But it's thanks to the terrific staff of our wonderful NHS that she's where she is today, able to fight like the warrior that she is, and her beloved husband, Keiron thanks everyone for their support and well-wishes during what has been a challenging couple of months.

He told us: "There isn't a lot to update people on at this time, other than the fact that Beth is continuing to make gradual progress in her recovery all the time.

"We are in this for the long haul, in terms of her being back to her normal self. But there is no reason at this point not to hope for the best.

"Again, I want to thank everyone for your ongoing support."

As colleagues of Beth - some of us have known or worked alongside her for many years - and friends of her family, we recently set up a Just Giving page where any donation that could go towards making this challenging period a little easier for Kieron and Beth's three sons would be hugely appreciated.

Keep fighting, Beth.
