AWAY DAY GUIDE | LINCOLN CITY

17 April 2023

It's our penultimate away fixture of the 22/23 campaign on Tuesday night when we travel to Lincoln City in Sky Bet League One.

In what will be our 73rd meeting with the Imps, Michael Duff's men travel to the LNER Stadium looking to make it three wins on the bounce in League One as we approach the final games of the campaign.

Mark Kennedy's side are on good form themselves, winning in their last three outings including an impressive 2-0 victory over Plymouth Argyle at Tuesday's venue.

Tickets remain on sale for this one until 12 noon on Tuesday 18 April, subject to availability.

Sincil Bank, known as the LNER Stadium for sponsorship reasons, has been the home of the Imps since 1895, and has a capacity of 10,780.

How to get there

By Car

The postcode for the LNER Stadium is LN5 8LD.

Coach and Car Parking

The South Common, which normally is used for coach parking and open to the public, is out of use due to a fair on-site.

Visiting coaches will drop Reds fans off at Tentercroft Street.

The coaches will then park at Tesco car park following drop off.

The LNER Stadium can then be accessed by walking down Sincil Bank or Cross Street,

Visiting supporters will then need to make their way back to the same place where they were dropped off (Tentercroft Street) after the game to depart back.

For supporters travelling by car, Lincoln have provided a list of car parks available. This list excludes South Common for this fixture.

The Gaffer's Take

Speaking ahead of the game on iFollow Barnsley, Duff said:

"They're well-coached, organised. They carry a threat. They've won the last three so they're definitely not on the beach - and beaten some good teams within that. They've lost one game at home all season.

"I know Mark quite well, I talk to him quite regularly. You can see that they're a well-coached team. That's probably the biggest compliment I can pay them. They do carry a threat."

We wish a safe journey to all Reds fans making the trip to Sincil Bank on Tuesday!
