Our U21s entertain Hull City at the Oakwell Training Ground on Friday afternoon, looking to build on last week’s impressive victory over Charlton Athletic.
The young Reds have found their feet recently, coming from behind to claim a deserved point against Ipswich Town before putting the Addicks to the sword.
Jack Butterfill bagged a brace to take his tally to four in as many games this term and will be hoping to get on the scoresheet once more when the Tigers visit South Yorkshire.
Hull travel to Oakwell with just one win to their name in their five outings this season – a 5-0 triumph against Professional Development League whipping boys Watford. Other than that, it has been four defeats for the Humberside outfit, who were despatched by Millwall, Bristol City, Ipswich and Reading.
Traditionally, this is a fixture that tends to go either way, with both sides enjoying victories and sharing the spoils over the past few years.
Kick-off is at 1pm on the Showcase pitch, so come and get behind the young Reds as they look to make it back-to-back wins. Alternatively, follow updates on our official Academy Twitter page (@AcademyBFC), starting with team news at 12pm.
Supporters attending this fixture are reminded to park in the South Stand car park, not on Grove Street.
