A lowdown of what is going on at Oakwell ahead of another busy week for the Reds across all age groups!

Monday

Tickets for our trip to the University of Bolton Stadium on October 15 go on general sale from 9am Monday morning. The prices are as follows: 


Adult £23
Senior Over 65 £18
Young Adult (18-22 years) £18
Juvenile Under 18 £13
Juvenile Under 12 £8

A reminder that tickets are also on sale for our next game at Oakwell against Exeter City on Saturday 8 October, as well as our trip to Doncaster Rovers in Papa John's Trophy action on 11 October, the latter kicking off at 7pm.

Tuesday

BARNSLEY U21s VS PETERBOROUGH UNITED U21s | OAKWELL | PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE | 14:00pm KO

Our U21s return to league action for the first time in almost a month as we welcome the Posh to Oakwell on Tuesday afternoon.

Tom Harban's side will be looking to make it back-to-back wins in the Professional Development League after beating Charlton 2-0 last time out courtesy of a Jack Butterfill brace.

In-game updates will be provided over on our official Academy Twitter account and post-match reaction can be found on our website.

Thursday

MICHAEL DUFF PRE-FLEETWOOD PRESS CONFERENCE | OAKWELL | 9:15am

Our Head Coach previews our trip to Fleetwood Town on Saturday in Sky Bet League One action, kicking off at 3pm.

Duff's thoughts ahead of the encounter will be available for supporters to watch over on iFollow Barnsley shortly after the press conference has concluded.

 

Friday

COVENTRY CITY U21s VS BARNSLEY U21s | PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE | 13:00pm KO

It's two in three days for Tom Harban's side as they travel to the West Midlands to face the Sky Blues in PDL action. Our U21s ground out a 0-0 draw in the pair's last meeting in Coventry back in March of this year.

SOCIAL X BARNSLEY FC | EAST STAND CONCOURSE, OAKWELL | 5pm - 11pm

 

Join us at Oakwell for craft beer, cocktails and live music as Social take over our East Stand concourse on Friday and Saturday!

Enjoy wood-fired pizzas, slow-roasted meats and Sri Lankan street food in this new and exciting event at the home of the Reds over the weekend!

Saturday

HULL CITY U18s VS BARNSLEY U18s  | BISHOP BURTON COLLEGE | PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE | 11:00am KO

Our young Reds travel to Humberside on Saturday morning to face Hull City in the Professional Development League.

The Tigers are yet to win this campaign, losing all four of their opening games and sit at the foot of the league. Nicky Eaden's side lie in second place, having a game in hand on leaders Sheffield United, after the Reds' game scheduled to take place on Friday 23rd September against Coventry City suffered a late postponement.

FLEETWOOD TOWN VS BARNSLEY | HIGHBURY STADIUM | SKY BET LEAGUE ONE | 15:00pm KO

The Reds are on the road once again in league action, taking on the Cod Army at Highbury on Saturday. Michael Duff's side will be looking to make it three wins on the bounce against a Fleetwood side who last played in the league on September 17, holding Charlton Athletic to a 1-1 draw.

We will be backed by a sold-out away end on the Lancashire coast, with UK-based supporters being able to purchase an iFollow audio pass for £2.50. Commentary is provided by Matt Bailey with Callum Cooper on hand to summarise proceedings. Overseas supporters can watch the match for £10 with an iFollow match pass, available to purchase here.

Can't make the Friday night installment of Social at Oakwell? Don't fear, you can enjoy the array of street food and craft beverages on Saturday also!
