We are currently seeking casual matchday workers for a variety of roles at Barnsley Football Club.
50/50 Half Time Draw Seller – This is a commission-only based role. Earnings are dependent on the number of draw tickets sold. You will also be eligible to watch the remainder of the game free of charge when your shift ends. You should report for duty no later than 1 hour 30 minutes before kick-off.
Turnstile Operator - The hours of work are 1 hour 45 minutes before kick-off until 10 minutes after kick-off. The rate of pay is £19 per shift and you will be welcome to stay in the stadium to watch the remainder of the game once your shift ends. The main duties are scanning pre-purchased season and match tickets using a handheld scanner and checking the eligibility of anyone in possession of a concessions ticket.
Car Park Steward – The hours of work are three hours pre-kick-off and up to one hour post-match. The rate of pay meets National Minimum Wage. Over 18s only. General car park duties including ensuring supporters park in the correct area, scanning pre-purchased car park tickets, controlled exit post-match. Car parks close five minutes after kick-off, you will then be welcome to watch the game free of charge up to the 85th minute when duties recommence.
