Reds supporters can vote for their August Player of the Month in association with NG Decor.
In a month that saw us take on eight matches in 31 days, the Reds won three and earned a credible draw away at high-flying Ipswich Town.
Several players stood out in August, with Luke Thomas opening our account in the league with his strike at home to Cheltenham Town that saw us run out 1-0 winners.
At Middlesborough, Josh Benson began a three-game scoring streak, netting the winner at the Riverside and going on to score against both Derby County and Bristol Rovers.
Mads Andersen has been an ever-present in Michael Duff's league squad so far this campaign, leading by example in his first season as skipper. Barnsley have kept a clean sheet in every game we have won so far this campaign.
Luca Connell enjoyed an opening month in a Reds shirt at the heart of our midfield, featuring in every league fixture so far and providing two assists at Ipswich Town where we picked up a well-earned point in East Anglia.
Jack Aitchison got off the mark for the Reds at Portman Road, stooping down low to arrow a header into the bottom corner to equalise for the first time in the game. Jordan Williams has also opened his tally for the season, scoring his first league goal for the Reds in our 3-0 victory against Bristol Rovers.
There are many players to pick from but it's up to you, the fans, to decide who becomes our NG Decor August Player of the Month.
