A window into the week for the Reds across all age groups!

MONDAY

FA CUP ROUND 1 DRAW | BBC TWO | 19:15

The draw for the first round of the FA Cup takes place on Monday evening, with 40 ties to be decided.

The Reds are ball number 3 in the pot and the ties are set to be played on the weekend of 5th November.

Details of our first-round tie will be outlined on our website once the draw has concluded.

 

THURSDAY

MICHAEL DUFF PRE-MORECAMBE PRESS CONFERENCE | OAKWELL | 9:15am

The gaffer previews our trip to the Lancashire coast as we take on Morecambe in Sky Bet League One action on Saturday. It is our first league meeting with the Shrimpers, meeting only twice before, both coming in the League Cup. 

Reds fans can find the thoughts of Michael Duff going into this one over on iFollow Barnsley once the press conference has concluded. 

FRIDAY

BARNSLEY U21S VS CREWE ALEXANDRA U21S | SHOWCASE PITCH, OAKWELL | PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE | 13:00 KO

After already featuring once this week, our U21s are back in action four days later as they welcome Crewe Alexandra U21s to Oakwell on Friday afternoon.

SATURDAY

PETERBOROUGH UNITED U18S VS BARNSLEY U18s | THE POSH ACADEMY TRAINING GROUND | PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE | 11:00am KO

Our U18s return to action after a two week break from league action, travelling to Peterborough United on Saturday morning. 

At the time of writing, the young Reds sit top of the U18 PDL table, winning their last three. Last time out in the league saw Nicky Eaden's side romp to a 5-1 victory away to Hull City, courtesy of braces by Yoganathan and Monteiro, with Nzondo adding to the tally.

The Reds are back on the road this week as we return to Lancashire in Sky Bet League One action to face Morecambe.

After a good point at Bolton last week, Michael Duff's men look to make it five unbeaten on the road at the Mazuma Stadium on Saturday.
