The gaffer previewed Saturday's game against Forest Green Rovers at Oakwell, kicking off at 3pm.
ON JORDAN WILLIAMS
"Hopefully, he's going to be available. He was in yesterday. I've not seen the players as of yet. The information that I'm getting from the medics is that hopefully he will able to be involved in some way.
"There's no one any closer, but luckily no injuries either."
ON RECENT RESULTS
"It's a funny run, I don't think I've been on this type of run. All four goals that have gone in, not once have you looked at the goalkeeper.
"Quite often now when this happens you look at the goalkeeper, 'what's he doing there, he's only had one save to make and he's not made it'. He's been a sitting duck in all of them. That part of the pitch, we're alright, and we know that.
"But, we're not stupid either. We know that we need to get better at the other part of the pitch."
ON FOREST GREEN ROVERS
"A club I know really well, just down the road from where I live. Obviously, Dale [Vince, owner of FGR] has got his own ideas and thoughts on the way things should be done and he's quite strong on that.
"From a football point of view; you look at their rise over the last five or six years - it has been pretty dramatic, to be honest.
"They had a really good year last year, had a difficult start this year. It will be a difficult game because of what I've just talked about - the expectation on us at home."
ON IAN BIRCHNALL
"I don't know Ian at all. I know Dale, I knew Richard Hughes, the director of football who has just gone down to Portsmouth.
"They do play good football. They want to keep the ball, they're not back to front. They'll play a back three I imagine, which they have done for the last three or four years.
"We need to not take them lightly, which I don't think we're in a position to. We've won one in five at home, which is not good enough."
