Barnsley Football Club can confirm that Joe Ackroyd has extended his loan deal with Guiseley AFC until the New Year.
Since joining at the end of September, the Lions are six unbeaten with our energetic midfielder claiming the Player of the Match award twice, whilst also contributing two goals and two assists in an impressive start.
The 20-year-old will remain at Nethermoor Park until 3 January 2023, with Danny Ellis’ side currently 13th in the Northern Premier League Premier Division – only five points behind leaders FC United of Manchester.
