Barnsley FC Official FanZone, East Stand
Weather permitting, join us in the East Stand Car Park to build up to the big kick-off at 3pm. Chris Ridyard and Dave Cooper will be on hand to guide you right up until the whistle! Also, hear from Conor McCarthy who will be stopping by to chat to our hosts whilst Reds fans enjoy the offerings from our outdoor bar!
Barnsley Foodbank, East Stand Car Park
As with every home Saturday game, Barnsley Foodbank will be in attendance to receive your kind donations. The point to donate your goods can be find adjacent to the Fanzone in our East Stand Car Park. All donations are greatly appreciated!
The Last Post to be played prior to kick-off, Oakwell
Due to the 2022/23 fixture schedule, we did not host a game at Oakwell around Armistice Day, which takes place on November 11. Therefore, the Club will pay our respects to our Armed Forces prior to kick-off against MK Dons with a rendition of the Last Post to be played, with representatives from the Army, Navy and RAF leading out the teams for kick-off.
Adam Hammill returns to Oakwell!
Fresh from announcing his retirement, Barnsley FC legend Adam Hammill joins us at Oakwell on Saturday!
The winger has played an instrumental part in the Reds' recent history, scoring in both the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final and League One Play-Off final in the 2015/16 campaign. Those were two of 26 goals scored in a Reds shirt in 199 appearances made across two spells in South Yorkshire. Hammill will be making an appearance on the pitch at half-time so make sure to give him a warm welcome on his return!
