Cup action dominates proceedings this week for the Reds!
Wednesday
Port Vale vs Barnsley | Papa John's Trophy Round of 32 | Vale Park | 7:30pm KO
It's the knockout stages for Michael Duff's men, with Port Vale being between the Reds and a place in the Round of 16 of the Papa John's Trophy.
Our last meeting with the Valiants came just two months ago, the visitors cancelling out Liam Kitching's headed goal to ensure the spoils were shared in Sky Bet League One action back in September.
Tickets for this one remain on sale until 12pm on Wednesday 23 November. More details can be found here.
Thursday
Michael Duff Pre-Crewe Alexandra Press Conference | Oakwell
Our Head Coach will preview our Emirates FA Cup Second Round tie with Crewe Alexandra for the assembled press on Thursday.
Reds fans can hear what the gaffer has to say over on iFollow Barnsley shortly after the presser.
Saturday
Barnsley U18s vs Crewe Alexandra U18s | Professional Development League | Showcase pitch, Oakwell | 11am KO
Our U18s look to strengthen their spot at the top of the PDL table as they take on Crewe Alexandra on the Showcase pitch.
Our young Reds last time out were involved in a seven-goal thriller in Lancashire, emerging victorious with a 4-3 victory over Burnley. A brace from Mylan Benjamin along with a Theo Champman penalty and an own-goal by the hosts saw Nicky Eaden's men complete an impressive comeback over the Clarets.
The Railwaymen currently lie 8th in the PDL table, without victory in their last four outings in the league.
Barnsley vs Crewe Alexandra | Emirates FA Cup Second Round | Oakwell | 3pm KO
The Reds welcome the Railwaymen to Oakwell in Emirates FA Cup second round action.
Victory over Bolton Wanderers ensured safe progression to the second round of the prestigious competition for Michael Duff's men, with Saturday's visitors defeating Leyton Orient 1-0 to set up a tie with the Reds at Oakwell.
