Street food and music returns to the East Stand concourse on Friday and Saturday - enjoy the footballing action and what Social has to offer on Friday night as our U18s begin their FA Youth Cup campaign!
Nicky Eaden's men face Spennymoor Town U18s in the competition, kicking off at 7pm on the main pitch at Oakwell.
Entry to the game is FREE, with supporters being situated in our DX West Stand. Access to the game will only be provided via this stand.
Meanwhile, Social will be hosted in our East Stand concourse from 5pm, offering tasty street food accompanied by good music and a selection of beverages - with free entry!
Why not combine both and pay a visit to Social before backing our young Reds under the lights at Oakwell?
Academy manager Bobby Hassell spoke of his excitement ahead of the evening:
"It's an FA Cup Youth game - it's an important game in youth football. It's a great experience that they get to play on first team pitches.
"It's free entry - I know there's a Social event on the same night, it's good to combine both things. Come and watch young players coming through and obviously go and have some fun in and around the game in the East Stand!"
CEO, Khaled El-Ahmad, added: "We are happy to welcome Social back to Oakwell this weekend.
"The last event saw some great food on offer that my family and I enjoyed, plus it was great to see many Reds fans with friends and family enjoying the event!
"I hope for a good result for U18s on Friday night and that fans enjoy themselves across the weekend following the Reds across all age groups!"
