JOSH MARTIN LOOKS AHEAD TO VISIT OF MK DONS

17 November 2022

The attacking midfielder previewed the clash for the press ahead of Saturday's 3pm kick off against MK Dons at Oakwell.

ON PROGRESS OF THE TEAM SO FAR

"We're taking it game by game. We don't look too much into the future. Onto the next game, three points from there, onto the next one, three points there.

"I think that's the main thing for us as a team. Taking it game by game. Not focusing too much on the league and I think results will take care of themselves once we get that balance."

ON WORLD CUP

"I don't think it affects us too much, we still have a lot of games. We're not having a break so we're plugging away, working hard. Hopefully, England do well!

"I'm sure we'll be watching it. Some games we'll watch as a team together here. Some of them obviously at home. We'll be supporting England and hoping they do as best as they can."

ON MK DONS

"It happens to any team. They had a really, really good season last year. I was a part of it for a short amount of time, the team were very good. They have some brilliant players there and I think everything last year just came together.

"I know that they've had a couple of new players come in this year. It's tough to get a group of players to perform together quickly. I know the manager well, I know the staff there."

ON SEEING OLD FACES

"The main focus is that we want to win. We need the three points. Obviously, it's 90 minutes where we want to win the game, work as hard as we can.

"After the game there may be a hug or two and ask how they are."
