AWAY DAY GUIDE | BOLTON WANDERERS

4 November 2022

We return to the University of Bolton Stadium for the second time in three weeks as we begin our Emirates FA Cup campaign on Saturday!

This first round tie is kicking off at 2pm and supporters can find details of our trip below.

Our previous victory over the Whites came in this competition as Darren Barnard's goal saw the Reds through to the fourth round in 1998.

Built in 1997, the University of Bolton Stadium has a capacity of 28,723, making it the fifth largest stadia at this stage of the FA Cup. Reds fans will be situated in the Franking Sense South Stand Upper Tier on Saturday.

There will be no pay-on-the-day available.

The address for the University of Bolton Stadium is:

Burnden Way
Horwich
Bolton
BL6 6JW

Parking

Car parking facilities are available priced at £8 per car, £12 per minibus and £20 per coach. Disabled bays are available on a first come, first served basis. Car parks are operated by Parking Eye, using automatic number plate recognition cameras www.parkgood2go.com.

All car parks, concourse kiosks, coffee carts and hospitality areas will be accepting card payments only.

Due to a snooker tournament taking place at the stadium on the day, some exit routes to car parks post-match may be different, however, stewards will be on hand to assist supporters. More information can be found here.

Train

The University of Bolton Stadium is served by Horwich station, located just 400m from the arena. This station is served by both Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Victoria.

Please note however that rail strikes are in operation on the day of the game. Check the train availability before travelling.
