We are delighted to announce that Callum Styles has been called up by Hungary for their UEFA Nations League fixtures in June.
The 22-year-old midfielder won his first international cap as a substitute against Serbia in March, before making his full debut in a 1-0 victory over Northern Ireland in Belfast a few days later.
He is now in contention to play competitively at this level for the first time, with fixtures against England, Italy and Germany on the horizon in the space of 11 days next month.
Up first are Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions in Budapest on 4 June, before Marco Rossi and his side travel to Cesena to face European Champions, Italy. Hungary then entertain Germany at the Puskas Arena and round off their June schedule at the Molinuex against England on 14 June.
We’ll keep you updated with Callum’s progress right here on barnsleyfc.co.uk!
