Callum Styles has been selected by Hungary for their friendlies at the end of March.
The 21-year-old will be in contention to make his international debut as Marco Rossi’s side face Serbia in Budapest on Thursday 24 March and Northern Ireland in Belfast on Tuesday 29 March.
Upon receiving his first call-up, the Bury-born midfielder – who qualifies for Hungary through his grandparents – said: “To receive international recognition is one of the biggest honours in football and a proud moment for me and my family.
“I’m really excited to test myself against some of the best players in the world and looking forward to linking up with my teammates and showing what I can do.”
Everyone at Oakwell would like to congratulate Callum on this magnificent achievement.
