Saturday 26 March marks this season’s National Non-League Day, where fans from clubs in England’s top two divisions are encouraged to show their support at grassroots level while the international break is in full swing.
There are a number of fixtures taking place in the area this weekend, and no doubt our local clubs would greatly appreciate numbers through the turnstiles.
Both Penistone Church and Athersley Rec are away from home on Saturday at Garforth Town and Staveley Miners welfare, respectively, but you can still whet your appetite for football with non-league matches close to home.
