Our young attacker returned to Oakwell this week for pre-season training ahead of our upcoming 2022/23 campaign.
"I'm buzzing to be fair", Marsh opened. "Obviously it's nice to have a bit of time off in between seasons but now I'm back and feeling ready to go."
After scoring towards the back end of last season against Preston - on his first start for the club - and gaining valuable first team Championship minutes, 'Marshy' expressed his desire to kick on and play a big part in the upcoming season.
"It was crazy to be fair, it's only just starting to sink in really, what actually happened.
"I'm wanting to take what I got from the end of last season into this season", the Monk Bretton youngster continued. "I'll take it game by game and hopefully keep improving throughout the season and chip in with a few goals. That's my main aim."
In terms of targets for next season, the 19-year-old doesn't have many tangible aims but wants to be involved as much as possible.
"I just want to try my best in training and hopefully I can get a run of games, and play as many games for Barnsley as I can this season."
